I started this painting as a kind of joke thinking “I can also paint two panels in different colours, just like Rothko”. I started out with very different colours than what I ended up with: But I ended up painting over both panels with colours that appealed to me more:

I’ve done some more painting to try to get back into working with acrylic paints: “Yellow cells in love” (2024) – 50 x 50 cm canvas (for sale here). Untitled (2024) – A3 acrylic on art paper (for sale here). And a work in progress:

I started work on these canvases ages ago but both went nowhere, so I painted over what I had done to start fresh. The smaller one is made after a small doodle I made a while back that shows a lot of concentric rings and swirly lines.
